It's been over two decades since I started my journey as a musician. My music making started in middle school, when I began studying trumpet under the guidance of the esteemed music educator, Jim Hilbie. It was when I entered high school and began playing the piano and guitar that I discovered a true passion for performing and a keen interest in songwriting. Once in college, I formed an original rock band, Twenty Grand, with my roommate Tim Conway. We performed in Oneonta, NY where we went to school, as well as various venues in NYC in the summer of 2009. After the boys in the band graduated, we decided to retire from the rockstar game. Not to be discouraged, I returned to my hometown of Mystic, CT and soon I was performing up to 4 nights a week in southeastern Connecticut and RI as a solo artist and with small ensembles, including an original folk project called Shipwreck Souls.
After going back to college, taking on a full time teaching job, getting married, having children, and buying a home, the frequency of my live performances and songwriting decreased. For a while my basement walls were my only audience, but through all these life changing moments, my passion for songwriting has grown even stronger, reinvigorating my motivation to perform and to share my art.
I am presently booking solo, duo, trio and occasionally full band shows for 2019. For booking inquiries, please email me at OR use the contact page.
I appreciate every face in the crowd, every listener, like and share. Thank you for visiting my website and I hope you'll join me for a performance soon!
